Letter: Small businesses need relief, not regulations

Main Street is dying while Wall Street gets bailed out.

I'm writing this not just as a business owner, but as a concerned citizen. Every day I see 'For Lease' signs going up in our town square. These aren't just empty buildings; they are broken dreams. The regulations, the taxes, the mandated closures—it's too much.

Big box stores were allowed to stay open while the local flower shop was shut down. Why? Because the little guy doesn't have lobbyists in Ottawa. We need relief. We need a government that gets out of the way and lets us do what we do best: serve our community and create jobs. Stop punishing success.
